Sutherland Instruments are instrumentation specialists. We have been accredited contractors to the
Department of Defence for over 35 years and have been operating since 1965.
Our technicians are qualified to repair, test, calibrate and certify marine, industrial, scientific instrumentation and valves in our Miranda workshop.
A large part of our work involves working on-board naval vessels, being qualified scientific instrument makers we are capable of testing, calibrating and certifying (insitu) using NATA test equipment–
We also remove the below from naval vessels to be tested in-house using our NATA test equipment.
For over 35 years Sutherland Instruments have repaired instrumentation & valves for the Dept of Defence. During this time we have completed works for various branches of the Defence Force and Naval stores.
All test equipment is maintained as per our ISO9001:2015 quality system.
We have carried out work on various systems onboard naval vessels, including FFG’s, DDG’s, HMAS Success, Mine Hunters and HMAS Choules.
